I am originally from Hickory, North Carolina, the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. In 2018, I moved to Florida. Back home, I have a red-eared slider turtle, named Junior, as well as a calico cat named Daisy. I am part of a family of four and I have an older brother.
In my free time, I enjoy creating art, roller skating, surfing, making crystal wire-wrapped jewelry, reading,
picking up trash to save the environment, cooking, being active, and walking. I am an environmentalist, spend most of my time outdoors, and love all animals. Volunteered at the Humane Society both walking and running dogs. I also have experience with house sitting dogs for families in my hometown.
I enjoy working with animals because it encourages me to be more active and youthful. Animals bring me joy, I can be in the worst mood and then hangout with animals and forget why I was feeling down beforehand. Animal and human relationships are a two-way street. We both benefit from going on walks and mutually benefit one another by providing protection and affection.
