I was born & raised in Westchester County, NY and graduated from the University of Connecticut (Storrs Campus) in 1995. Never being a fan of the cold as an adult, I moved to sunny St Pete when I was 28 years old. I always felt I had a good work ethic, so after about 7 years working as a bar back & bartender in the restaurant business, I worked my way up to a General Manager position. Then, I transitioned over into the Senior Living industry for about 9 years and ended my career as Sales Director at The Fountains Retirement Community in St Pete.
Even though I loved helping seniors, I realized I couldn’t work for anyone & my true passion was animals. So in August 2017, I decided to take a huge leap and become the owner of Calling All Dogs & Cats. It was the best decision I ever made. Since that day, I never considered I had to work anymore, because I truly loved the business. I truly learn & grow every day and am loving the journey 🙂
On July 24, 2020, I had to say goodbye to my best friend, Cody. Cody was Shiba-Inu and lived a very happy 14 years and 4 months with me. He was a special boy & he can never be replaced. Of course, the pain of losing him never goes away, but spending time with our clients’ animals sure does help.
Some of my core values include: not taking yourself too seriously, being transparent, doing the right thing, and providing exceptional customer service. These values added to the existing fabric of this already great company. My whole life I have enjoyed helping people and animals, now I can add helping your pets to that list!
