Like many others, I migrated to Florida when everything suddenly became virtual due to the Covid-19 pandemic. I extended my stay, and now I never plan to leave! When my family’s beloved black lab passed away in 2014, I convinced my family to begin fostering animals. Since then, we have fostered over 100 puppies and dogs, of all different shapes, sizes, breeds, backgrounds, and temperaments. However, despite these differences, the dogs share a common trait: they just want to be loved, which I happily do. Fostering has been the most challenging, yet rewarding experience ever! When we fostered Peach, we just couldn’t bear to give her back to the shelter. We adopted her four years ago; however, she resides back in Illinois with my parents and two sisters.
Thankfully, my roommate’s dog, S’mores, is always happy to provide lots of cuddles, walks, and kisses when I am missing Peach. I am a full-time college student, so when I am not studying, I love to run, snorkel, read, and be outdoors as much as possible. I love animals of all shapes and sizes and would be thrilled and honored to care for your fur baby as if it were my own!
